COLEMAN COUNTY
GAS FIELD

Meers Microseep Surveys conducted a 36-point survey in western Coleman County. The survey was in and around several producing gas fields (see following "Base Map")

As seen on the above map, points 26 -29 were in the middle of a producing gas field. The 40K and Mag showed anomalous conditions over and around the gas field as seen on the charts below.

Chart 1 shows the regional concentrations of both 40K and the Magnetic soil concentration. The gas field at points 26 - 29 has a high concentration of 40K while exhibiting a low concentration of Magnetic iron. This is termed an Oxidizing environment (shown as red on "Chart 2" and the following map). Note the opposite effect on both sides of the gas field at points 22 & 31. This is the Reducing environment surrounding the field (shown as blue on "Chart 2" and the following map). The Oxidizing and Reducing environments shown over and around this field gives it a "Halo" type anomaly (Oxidizing over the field with Reducing environments around the field).

Chart 2 is a product of Chart 1 showing the degree of separation between the 40K and the Mag. The degree of standard deviations is significant over or below 1 standard deviation.
As can be seen on chart 2, the gas field at points 26 - 29 stands out. Other gas fields are seen in the other
Oxidized areas. The map below shows these other gas fields and their relationship to the anomalies. It should be noted that the dry holes at points 1, 4, 16, 22, & 36 all lie in non Oxidized areas. Of the five dry holes that were within 330 ft. of the survey, all five were in non-productive signatures. Of the three gas wells that were within 330 ft. of the survey, all were in a productive Oxidized environment. The other Oxidized environments could easily be contoured to be associated with gas wells within 1500 ft. of the survey.
The Meers Microseep Survey showed all gas wells in an
Oxidized soil environment with all dry holes lying outside of this soil profile. This area of western Coleman Co. exhibits a good soil profile conducive to the Meers Microseep Technology. One hundred percent of the dry holes and the gas wells showed a correct profile signature.
